Dibble Museum

Dibble Museum

In 1950, Lilian Dibble, granddaughter of John Rowland, turned the water tank located south of the home into a museum especially for the school children. The Round House, as it is now called, contains ranch equipment and Indian artifacts, and is included with tours of the home.

Many items from the home are on display in room settings in the museum, giving a feeling of how the Rowland's lived. Also displayed in the museum are Indian baskets and other artifacts together with tools and items from the Rancho Period, presenting a graphic history of life as it was in the valley at different periods of time.
